National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)

Building Systems Councils (BSC)
BSC is a division of the NAHB dedicated to the systems built industry. It is the leading resource for the concrete, log, modular and panelized home building industries. The BSC aims to educate and inspire through consumer-friendly documents and interactive learning tools.

BSC Sales and Marketing Council

The council provides training, offers awards and recognition programs, and provides sales and marketing tools to members.

NAHB Research Center

National Association of Home Builders Research Center LogoThe NAHB Research Center is a wholly owned subsidiary of NAHB, which provides unique access to the home building industry but allows independence and objectivity. They are equipped with a full-service, accredited product testing and certification laboratory. These resources have helped the Research Center develop a strong core of research capabilities to respond to the changing needs of the home building industry.

The Luzerne County Housing Partnership

The Luzerne County Housing Partnership The Luzerne County Housing Partnership's mission is to be an influential catalyst for the revitalization of the Luzerne County Housing Market and to establish an event to aid in creating a fair and predictable building environment for the builder, residents and neighborhoods of Luzerne County. The Partnership is comprised of local, public and private agencies; financial and educational institutions; private corporations and County agencies.

The Institute for Public Policy and Economic Development

The Institute for Public Policy and Economic DevelopmentA higher education partnership among, Keystone College, King's College, Luzerne County Community College, Marywood University, Misericordia University, Penn State Wilkes-Barre, University of Scranton and Wilkes University, the Institute for Public Policy and Economic Development’s mission is to assist in the revitalization of cities, counties and states through the utilization of the center's expertise and resources to develop more effective and efficient government. These include its member universities, colleges, and their respective faculties and students.

The Institute serves as a resource and consultant for communities, non-profits, education, and business to develop best practices, preparation of applied research, strategy development, and the process for its implementation.

These awards, memberships and affiliations show that we are devoted to playing an active role in the industry. We are dedicated to acquiring new techniques, practices and procedures that in turn enable us to design and manufacture an ever-improving product. Also, many of these organizations provide valuable insight into state regulatory and legislative issues so that we can stay up to date on issues and concerns. All of these benefits greatly assist the consumer by us not only providing a better product but also by us being pre-positioned for turns in the market.

The affiliation with NAHB’s green programs has given us a deeper insight into the green building process. It has allowed us to provide our builders and customers with information and details on eco-friendly building and ways that green building can benefit them both economically and environmentally. Also, it has given us a deeper understanding of the processes that must be in place so that we can provide a green home easily and affordability with the correct certifications. Ultimately, the NAHB Research Center reviews and certifies these processes.
